MAINTENANCE As you can see, Hartwell Lake has gone to maintenance mode. It won't last too long we hope, we're just going to tweak this site a bit after the summer, preparing it for continuing the roleplay!

NEW CANONS! You heard right! Three new canon characters have been created for the canon list. Two new boys and one girl have been created with the play by's of Ed Westwick, Jackson Rathbone and Kristin Cavallari. Most of the credit goes to Ri (who plays Austin Stone) for creating the Ed Westwick and Kristin Cavallari characters. Thanks Ri! If anyone else has any ideas for canon characters and/or sub-plots, feel free to PM me (Larnie) with your ideas! In the meantime, go and check out the new canons! xD

SPOTLIGHT NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN! Yep that's right, nominations are now open for the member spotlight, so make sure you PM them to me ASAP. Everyone should be able to send me some nominations, it doesn't take very long. Go to here to nominate.

AUSTIN STONE HAS BEEN CLAIMED! Finally Austin Stone has been claimed! Hooray! He'll automatically be nominated for 'Male of the Moment' in the next member spotlight. xD

FIRST EVENT IS UP! Yay! The first event is finally here! Come on guys, let's get this event active! Role play as much as you can. All the info you need on the first event can be found right here, so check it out. Oh and by the way, we're still in need for someone to claim the canon Austin Stone.

AUSTIN STONE NEEDED! Good news, two of the needed canons have been claimed, but we are still in need of an Austin Stone. He is the antagonist of sub-plot one and will be needed for upcoming events and threads soon. If we can't find someone to play Austin before the first upcoming event, the staff might have to god-mod him for a little while and we really don't want to have to do that as two of us have characters involved in the first sub-plot already. We're getting desperate here, so we're going to make the idea of claiming Austin all the more interesting for you guys. For more information, click here.

PROMO VIDEO At some point a promo video for the site will be created. If you want your character to appear in the video, head on over to announcement board for more information.

TEMPORARY BAN Alright people, we're putting up a temporary ban on CAMPERS (don't worry, the two applications that are still in work can be finished normally, though if you want to switch groups, feel free!) as we have a lot of those and not many of others. If you look to the box on the left, you'll see we're in need of LOCALS and TOURISTS. And of course CANONS. Please consider making one of those. When the numbers are evened out again, we'll re-open the slots for CAMPERS. Thank you.

CANONS NEEDED Right now we need people to start claiming the canons we have available. The canons that we really need in order for plots to continue have been marked in red in the canon thread. Please do consider playing a canon, we really need them to operate the sub-plots we have.

WE HAVE RE-OPENED! Some serious cleaning up has been done on this site. If you're an old member and your character has been deleted and/or confiscated, well then I'm sorry, you should have replied to the activity check. However, you're welcome to re-apply if you wish.
